I enjoyed this DVD. It is good for all ages. If you liked Shrek 1 and 2, you will love this DVD. It has humor and music. There are no sex scenes. The story is strong and simple. The characters have depth. It is well acted.

At this point the Shrek franchise(in my opinion) should not have continued producing movies. This movie was not as good as the first or second one. The standards have lowered for the movie, but the animation and voice acting is still very impressive. The comedic aspect in the movie was not done as well as the first two movies. Donkey and Puss in Boots have sort of lost their charm. There are points in the movie, however, that are amusing. This made the movie slightly more bearable to watch. All in all, it definitely isn’t as enchanting as the first two classics, but it is an okay film. This receives three out of five stars from me.

The tale of the ogre returns once again to complete a trilogy. This time, a new king must be chosen as the previous King, Fiona’s dad, passes away. We see Shrek take the throne following Fiona’s father’s passing, but he may not be the best fit for the throne, thus creating the need for a new king. Shrek ventures out to find a person named Artie as this is the person who should really be the king and is the rightful heir to the throne. Along with his friends Donkey and Puss in Boots, he sets out to find him. However, in the shadows lurks another threat. What will become of the throne?

Love how they poke fun at teenagers, Merlin the Wizard, and, of course, Prince Charming! Shrek's nightmare of the ogre babies made us all laugh and laugh. But the ogre babies are actually very cute!

Shrek 3 is as good as the first two Shrek movies and for me that means it is funny and fast and nicely done. Definitely a fun movie to watch.

I watched Shrek the third. The movie is basically about Shrek who goes to find a new prince. And then fast forward to the ending when they try and kill Shrek in front of people, but then Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots and all of the characters kill Prince Charming. Then Prince Arthur takes over, and then Shrek and Fiona have children.

Some good moments, but definitely not as good as the first two. There was really no storyline between Shrek & Fiona, and isn't that the heart of these movies? Anyway, I'm glad I finally saw it, but I probably won't buy it.
