The eighth book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot.

At last, Mia is a junior. An upperclassperson. So why is it that everything is going so terribly wrong? What is she doing in Intro to Creative Writing? When she has made it through Algebra and Geometry, why must she be faced with Precalculus? All this is nothing compared to the news Michael springs on her, however. Her beloved boyfriend could be leaving for Japan for a year--or more! Precalc has nothing on preparing for the worst separation ever!

Turns out there is one way she might convince Michael to stay. But will she? Or won't she? No matter what, Mia seems headed for disaster.

Princess on the Brink is the eighth book in the beloved, bestselling series that inspired the feature film starring Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews.

This book was such an adventurous book and i loved it so much. I loved it how it Mia describes her life in a very normal girl way but in reality she is a princess.I love it how meg Cabot put so many events in the book like for example Mia's royal lessons .i loved that so much and how Mia hated them and about all the trouble she goes thru for them

I enjoyed this book. There are many twists and turns. I couldn't put the book down.

I'm in love with this series... Meg Cabot manages to write such an amazing story yet still manages to make everyone believe that a mere teenage girl is writing... not a fully grown woman! I hope this book will be just as good as its predecessors.. (I'm still waiting for Party Princess... I'm just kind of reading ahead because I have gone OVER THREE WEEKS WITHOUT PRINCESS MIA... I DON'T THINK I CAN COPE!)
