The townsfolk welcome Dannan, but the widowed physician misses his young daughter, who is staying with an aunt while he settles into his new life. When Dannan and his daughter are finally reunited, life feels right again, but only for awhile. Dannan cannot ignore the deep heartache of loneliness, and for the first time, he wonders if it is time to love again. But does he have enough faith to believe in a second chance?

The info regarding this book is somewhat incorrect. Having actually read the book Dannan is not a widower. He is aphysician and single man who takes in a little orphan girl (his cousin's daughter) and loves her as his own. He ends up marrying a Widow, the wife of one of his newly deceased patients. ( ***fyi to Kcls staff who may be able to update the info?! *it is also listed under fiction, widowers which is incorrect.
