A series of 6 shows relating to global health issues, including how West Nile was discovered in New York (and this discovery was delayed by actions of the CDC!!), plus the elimination of polio and hopefully malaria, issues of antibiotic 'superbug' resistance, AIDS and the discovery of how basic vitamins such as A and B3 (niacin) has helped to eradicate some diseases, at least in the developed world. The last segment looks at obesity and how it will impact health systems. It claims that now, more people are obese than underweight in the world.
