This would be a great book but it takes forever to complete the info on a crime. Characters were great and the crimes of the convicted and people running the street that are the real villians. Who do we try to save first?

This is my new favorite book. I finished this 370 page book in 3 days. I couldn’t put it down. The ending was amazing and I have never been more sad to finish a book. I caught myself soaking up every single word for the last 100 pages…

3 1/2 stars. This was a not too bad Grisham legal thriller. Cullen Post is a lawyer and a minister, working for the Guardian Ministries trying to get innocent people out of prison. There are two cases that are profiled in this book and…

A classic Grisham novel - well written, captivating and hard-to-put-down. Use of the first-person was at first a deterrent for me, but I warmed before the 5th chapter and was hooked - regardless - by the 2nd.

This is a very slow moving Grisham novel, flat characters, plodding storyline. His last few books have been very low quality and great disappointments. Go back to someof his first books which had depth, character development, action,…

An excellent picture of the Justice system as seen in the U.S. So many tragic outcomes for those who are not part of the controlling elite. Incidentally, we have just seen this from the President who was able to free his pal Stone. No…

I always look forward to a John Grisham book, but unfortunately none of the new ones come anywhere near his early novels. Just couldn’t get interested in this, very disappointing.
My first read of John Grisham. Found it long and a little to much detail in parts.
It was a good story line but also had to many charters for my liking. L Gibson March 9 2020
