Another twisty turny novel by Ruth Ware. It kept me guessing the whole time. By the last few chapters I was gritting my teeth….. just tell me what happened !!! I almost shouted at the book. Who would have guessed, what an ending!!!!

Excellent fast read! Story of 4 girls who met at boarding school with a secret 20 years old that has started to resurface.

My least favorite Ruth Ware book by a long shot. If I have to hear about that baby one more time...

This book felt like a waste of time. Little to no suspense, weak motivations, and a painfully slow pace. But the worst part for me was the borderline pedophilia that was barely addressed and largely excused. I don't understand what Ware…

Wow another good one from Ruth Ware. I've now read all of her books. They all vary in plots and settings, but they all have the same suspense and twists at the end. I look forward to Ms Ware's new book The It Girl. I hope that the…

This is one of those books that you invest time trying to appreciate and after half-way, you keep checking how many pages are left before it’s over. It was a slow and, unfortunately, a very dry and monotonous read. Another commenter…

The Lying Game was a bit of a slow read for me. I wasn’t totally gripped by this one. It wasn’t especially bad, but just didn’t pull me in and was quite far off from what I expected. My least favourite Ruth Ware book so far.

Not her best book. But was still entertaining. The book is about these four womens relationships and the mystery around this summer in their youth that haunts them, but the main character talks about her baby so much that it takes up a…

Ruth Ware has become a new favorite to read. Her psychological thrillers always have one more twist than I was expecting.

Did not find this as satisfying as other Ruth Ware books.

Not the greatest of books I have read. A little boring at times and almost didn't finish it.

Sooooo boring! The main character, Isa, is an awful, selfish, horrible, stupid woman. Her partner is a spineless jellyfish. They are both lawyers, but know nothing about the law. This story is long and drawn out, spending more time on…

Another good one from Reese’s booklist. Enjoyed it very much.

I could barely bring myself to finish this book. It was very boring and didn’t have any suspense until the last few chapters, and even then it wasn’t enough to keep me interested. I would not recommend it to anyone.

This was a suspenseful novel, but I did not enjoy it much. I could not identify with the protagonist, and I felt like she kept making stupid choices. There were parts when I wanted to know some answers, but I felt like the characters…

The story turned out to be a page turner. There is rising tension as the author provides clues of a terrible past event in the teens' life and then how that event comes back to haunt them as adults with established careers. Through…

The first 2/3s of the book were slow. I felt that I was reading about some mal-adjusted teenagers who never matured. The last 1/3 got more interesting. Rather depressing and sad.

It's such a task to read her books. No character development, so much of story is wordy without forwarding the plot. Didn't finish it.

Lies. We all tell them. Little white lies to spare someone's feelings. Whoppers to save our skins. Untruths come in many forms that spring from many places. The Lying Game is a story about how far you would go to maintain a lie that spun…

The mystery in the past haunts 4 best friends who survived school by playing the Lying Game. Did they all play by the rules or did each of them break the prime rule? You will not know all the answers until the end.

I read TWIC10, didn't like it at all. I read In a Dark, Dark Wood, didn't like it much but it wasn't the worst. I was reading The Death of Mrs. Westaway, torturous and I didn't bother finishing it at about halfway through. I haven't even…
