A satisfying combination of nostalgia, social realism, and optimism from one international generation to the next, never stepping into sensationalism or sentimentalism. Well acted by both young & old.

A sweet, gentle film about a middle aged teacher on a road trip to meet John Lennon and the two teenage hitchhikers he picks up along the way. If you enjoy this film, I also recommend the British film Heartlands starring Michael Sheen.
