This was yet again another maginifecent book series by Amanda Hocking! I think she might be my favourite author now. Would definetely recommend to anyone who loves books about sirens and mythologies. I am so excited to read the second book.

(As I did not read this series in order, I was slightly confused by what happened/was happening). But I actually read this book last, and most stuff still made sense and whatnot. The cover creeped me out at first for a while though. But…

I would agree with those who have said that the story was relatively simple and that the characters lacked a certain amount of depth. However, the ending is simply unpredictable and it will be interesting to see how this will get resolved.

I thought this book was okay in the beginning, it was strange and unique, but I didn't really like how it changed character point of view so quickly. As I kept reading, that problem got better when it was more of changing points of view…

I was alarmed when my 9 year old daughter brought this home from the library. It was in the "Tween" section, and is definitely NOT tween appropriate. There was frequent love content that was way too mature, and a few graphic…
The book was alright... it was a nice read and the characters were relatable, but it was way too predictable and the protagonist, Gemma, was too perfect. She had no flaws at all, and right from the start you could tell what the story will…

An addicting first book to a series. I couldn't put it down. The characters are interesting and relatable. I'm looking forward to diving into this world.

In this suspenseful novel, three new girls have come to town, Penn, Lexi and Thea. What is their connection to the dissapearances of young men in their town and their interest in Harper's younger sister Gemma? What will Gemma ultimately…

Its a really well written story. I really could feel the sister bond. And I love how Harper has her feet on the ground while Gemma goes with the flow! I loved it. But I'm also a little sad for how it ended. I want to read the next book!…
This book was amazing! I thought th beggining was a tinsy bit slow, but the rest of the book totally made up for it! I loved it!! I'm really happy there's another book after this!

Another 3rd person POV, score!
I really liked how this book was an easy read. I was completely relax reading this (I am not saying there weren't any action or suspense, I am saying that it wasn't mind boggling hard to understand). In fact…
