I know these books are geared for the young adult, hate to admit but I am way past that. I still am really enjoying them.

Too bad Ari dies. It would be interessting to see Ari in the rest of the story. He was just a poor seven year old who got no love from his parents. Stupid Jeb.

I love how James Paterson focus on character development in this book.

okay it was a good book although with all the global warming stuff I kind of felt like I was in school, bor-ing. but it was still very interesting. now that I'm finished I can go onto MAX, but I've heard some bad reviews good thing I have FANG booked ahead of time, look at me! I'm being smart.
I liked Fang's blog.

i love this book it was my best book everonce again another book about max and her flock, the action was good, romance was fine (total and akila!)... but the UD? he just sat there and died... he didn't do much or cause much harm... he was just trying to sell them but failed really bad~ kind of anti-climatic.. but since I have already read 4 of there book (finished Max and is now on Fang) I want to finish it just to see what happens.. don't you just cringe when Fang is around another girl? To bad she ended up being... :)

This is possibly my favorite series in existance, next to Candle Man. But honestly, this book felt like it was written to teach kids about global warming, rather than to actually add to the story of Maximum Ride. The next book is definately much, much better. But this book just seemed like something short that James Patterson came up with to make teens want to "go green".

This was yet another great book in the Maximum Ride series. The villain definitely fell flat on his butt during fight scenes and in fact there wasn't even much fighting or action in this book. I think what James Patterson tried to do was to slow things down a little bit after the big Itex ordeal, but the I hope things speed right back up in the last three books. However, I do think the series wouldn't have suffered a great deal of grief if this book wasn't included. The wiity comments were still great and the imaginative situations were amazing. I will never get tired of the romance issue between Max and Fang because I truly think they are meant to be. Max is the number one book character that I look up to and she always will be. Can't wait to start reading the next book and whatya know, I have it happily sitting on my desk waiting to be read tonight! YAYYYYY

This series is overrated. Yes at times it was actually somewhat good but in the end, the books up to this one are not good. James Patterson, also highly overrated, has yet to come up with a good young adult book. I mean seriously, yo? NO ONE SAYS THAT ANYMORE. Also he lacks in trying to come up with any sort of plot, let alone one that the reader can root for the characters for(important component in any novel) and one that makes any sort of sense. He makes Max make fun of cliches all the time but seriously? The whole series is full of cliches, rescues in the nick of time, injuries that heal perfectly, evil laughing scientists, the never ending list of superpowers, kids that never cry, do I have to go on?

i love this series but this was hands down the worst one in it. it felt rushed and sloppy. the first books were the best but once you are done the first 3 or 4 you loss interest.

This is a PHENOMENAL series! I love it so so so much. James Patterson wrote these books perfectly. I encourage everyone to read this series.

I've loved every single Maximum Ride book. I could always count on the fact that they would have good action, witty dialogue, and a great plot. The dialogue was still funny as ever, but other parts were a major let down. There wasn't really any action other than one part and there was no fighting. The villain in this book was not interesting to me at all and just seemed doomed to fail. Even with these problems I still thought that it could be a good book and that was because the plot is always great and I love the characters. I do wonder how they are going to fly around an 80 pound dog who weights 10 pounds less then them????
